Jeremy L. Dickerson, M.D. completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship and Family Medicine Residency through the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. While at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center School of Medicine, he was recognized for outstanding performance by the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Dickerson has specialized training in the management of primary care medical and non-operative musculoskeletal issues including acute sports related injuries, musculoskeletal overuse injuries, concussions, exercise medicine and sports pre-participation physicals. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and earned the Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Dickerson volunteers his time as a regular provider at the Nix Sports Medicine Clinic, founded by Jesse C. DeLee, M.D. who is co-editor of DeLee & Drez’s Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. These Saturday morning clinics provide orthopaedic evaluations and treatment to area student athletes as a service to the community.
He also serves as team physician for the Medina Valley Varsity football team and other Bexar county high schools.
